The early crops are getting off to a good start inspite of recent rain, hail and wind. The addition of pea gravel around the beds proved to be an excellent choice. I was able to pull weeds and actually do some planting between storms.

I placed 6 plants from runners in the greenhouse and 6 in the cold frame. The ones in the greenhouse are getting ripe while the ones in the cold frame are just starting to bloom.
The Sun Sugar tomato was started from seed on January 1 and was grown in the greenhouse.
